Top four shows and a crèche in office
A perfectionist to the core, Ekta Kapoor sure knows how to put in her best in whatever she does. She has four of her shows making it to the Top 10 shows in the TRP ratings. Tujhse Hai Raabta, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehalta Hai, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, Kullfi Kumarr Bajewala and Super Dancer Chapter 3 are the shows that have made it to the top slot. At the age of 19 in 1995 Ekta Kapoor rolled out her first serial Padosan and since then for the last 24 years she has been the Queen of serials making shows with high TRP ratings and building an empire called Balaji Telefilms. While she is on a high because all her shows are doing great, she is also on a high in her personal life since she became mom to Ravie in January this year. She isn’t willing to let her busy work schedule come in the way of her spending time with her son. She has set up a crèche in her office and Ravie is there most of the days. He is very comfortable around her team members. So whenever Ekta is busy, someone is there to give him attention. Even when Ravie grows up the crèche would continue Ekta revealed. She has now realized what kind of balancing act working mothers have to do and regretted not setting up a crèche earlier at her workplace. The concept of having a crèche at the workplace has not caught up in India yet; Ekta Kapoor might just be showing the way.
