While Priyanka Chopra Jonas may have wanted to play Ma Anand Sheela in a biopic on the confidant of the Indian spiritual guru Rajneesh, also known as Osho, it seems the lady herself is not keen on the Quantico actress. In an interview with Hindustan Times, Sheela has said that she prefers Alia Bhatt over Chopra and has in fact, sent a legal notice to the latter denying her permission for the same. About the notice itself, Sheela said, “I told her I do not give her permission to do the film because I have not chosen her… In Switzerland, we send legal notices very simply. I sent her an email which is accepted there as legal.” Does that mean that the Netflix special on Sheela which Karan Johar was to produce with Alia in the lead is back on track? Let’s wait and watch.
