After Kabir Singh’s controversy of hitting a woman, Taapsee Pannu seems to give a response on this by introducing her new film, Thappadh. The concept seems to be promising as it is about society’s mindset on considering violence against women, a trivial issue. The film’s trailer depicts the character Amu (Taapsee), seeking a divorce from her husband (Pavail Gulati) after he slaps her at a party. Her relatives find this matter a petty issue and advise her to ignore the matter and move on, however, Amu wants to fight back!
