After seeing lack of cooperation of the Mumbai Police with the Bihar Police, the Bihar government requested that the case be shifted in to the hands of  Central Bureau of Investigation.  From pressure amidst the entire nation, the center finally permitted the CBI to investigate in to the matter and fetch for the details. Meanwhile the SC asks Mumbai Police to file status report conducted on the death case so far within three days.
