Hema Malini’s comments on drug abuse in the industry
Recently landing in controversy was none other than Jaya Bachchan,who slammed those people tarnishing the Hindi film industry. In the Rajya Sabha, on Tuesday morning the veteran actress gave a fiery speech, on calling the industry a drug haven. Many other celebs joined and supported Jaya Bachchan on the matter.
As per the reports, the veteran actress Hema Malini, who is also a politician now, said, “There is drug addiction everywhere, why are they singling out Bollywood and saying that 99 per cent of them are drug addicts? Aisa humko badnaam nahi kar sakte hain yeh log. This is unacceptable.”
While the “dream girl” agreed with Ravi Kishan, who raised the issue of the ever increasing drug addiction in the film industry. She said, “I agree with what Ravi Kishan has said that there are few people and especially, the youngsters who are indulging in drugs. We, as an industry, should come together and stop this menace from spreading in the film industry.”
