The man of versatility has come up yet again with another very exciting concept which is unfortunately still a social stigma in our society. Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan by Hitesh Kewalya talks about same sex marriage. With the picture’s trailer being unveiled this Monday on social media platforms, the film has become the talk of the town since then and is being widely appreciated. Not only millenials, but Ayushmannn Khurrana’s parents too lauded the film and laughed their hearts out. The 35-year-old in an interview said, “I always talk to my parents about the films that I decide to do and I got tremendous support from them when I told them that I’m going to do ‘Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan’. They said they were proud of me that I decided to back a film that had a strong message to society.” With this fantabulous picture in his kitty, Ayushmann Khurrana becomes the first hero in Bollywood to have played a gay hero.

The actor said: “When I showed them (parents) the trailer of the film, they absolutely loved it. They saw it on loop and laughed all the way through. I was thrilled with this reaction from them because I realized immediately that the subject, my character has appealed and connected with them.”

“They said it was an important film for the entire country especially the parents because it could give them the right message about raising their children,” he added. The film will hit the theatres on 21 February.
