Aditya Pancholi (born Nirmal Pancholi, 1965 ) is an Indian film actor, producer and playback singer who appears in Bollywood films is how Wikipedia describes him.

Though the actor has always been under some or other controversy.

Claims ranging from physically and mentally abusing Kangana Ranaut during her early days in Bollywood to raping his ex-girlfriend Pooja Bedi’s 15-year-old maid when the two celebs were allegedly dating which also earned him a sentence by Metropolitan Court to one-year imprisonment in an assault case that took place in 2005. The court also fined Pancholi Rs. 20,000. Pancholi secured bail and avoided imprisonment.

The recent controversy involves a rape complaint that was registered with the Versova police by a Bollywood actor recently.

The Actress claimed that Mr. Pancholi had intercourse with her against her wishes by giving her drugs and that he took photographs of the scene without her consent, which he later used to extort her into submission and force ₹50 lakh from her, sources said.

The Mumbai Police have registered an offense of rape, wrongful restraint, assault and criminal intimidation under the Indian Penal Code.
